Holli Margell

Born and raised in West Seattle, I have always had a keen eye for photography and found inspiration in both nature and art from museum galleries to street art to the fine art my mother or other relatives have created.

As a kid with a Polaroid camera in hand, I loved photographing people in action or posing stuffed animals to practice more formal posing (for real, I did that)!

Starting out as a Wedding Photographers assistant at 18, I quickly discovered I love people. Burned out from weddings within a few years, I tried a variety of other things, but always with a day job. Photography finally became my full focus in 2015! Native Light Photography was launched to provide branding and professional photography to career professionals and businesses. Another branch came back into focus during the Pandemic to fulfill a more creative side working with people of all ages, holliwithani.com ;)
