As a young girl I could feel the energy in the a room and often times knowing how people were feeling. As a child this made me a very big 'people pleaser', always making sure everyone was happy, had what they needed, and felt included. Not recognizing this as a gift, I would often confuse other peoples feelings as my own. It wasn’t until I got older that I understood this to be a valuable gift; observing other individual's behavior and actions have always fascinated me. Of course I love to engage but most of the time I'm content to sit back and watch the exchange of energy.

Over twenty years ago I selected a career in the service industry. From the age of three there was never really a doubt in my mind that I wanted to take care of people, make them look and feel beautiful; allowing them to feel empowered. Always seeing the best version of someone without knowing much about them is a positive attribute. Over the years I have encountered a tremendous amount of success in the field of Cosmetology as a mentor, salon educator, salon owner, and ambassador for a major product and education company while maintaining a one on one behind the chair clientele. Constantly continuing my education and keeping current with all trends has contributed to my professional success.

Gaining a vast array of experienced it became apparent just how ego driven the industry that I had once loved so much actually is. To be honest, it had always been but so had I. Finding myself being fiercely competitive, critical, harshly demanding of myself and others.. just plain unpalatable. It was clear that I had gotten so far off base from the intention I once set as a little girl. Enough was enough. Spending the last of my 30's repairing the spirit that was so badly wounded from the last two decades of telling myself I wasn’t good enough, among other things was enlightening.

My healing journey has been so beautiful, so much so that it is difficult to write a brief summary. I am forever thankful for this shift and the love continues to blossom in me. Selling my salon, resigning from the educator position with the corporate product and education company, I am now renting a space for hair services in the charming town I get to call home. I love the love, the thoughtfulness, the one on one time and the healing that takes place when I'm working with my clients behind the chair and in a treatment! Through my own journey of healing, I personally started working with Reiki Energy, Biofield Tuning and Shamanic Practice and now various sound healing modalities . In 2017 I was introduced to a beautiful wisdom keeper, Melanie Jusula, who would later attune me to Reiki energy. It was then I became a certified 3rd degree Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master. It was then I started working to help others repair what once was but may have gotten lost due to a trauma or any other circumstances that impaired ones ability to fully reach their potential, their life purpose.

I continued my education and healing journey through The Foundation of Shamanic Studies with Denise Pauletteand and in 2019 became a member of The Circle Of The Foundation. Feeling deeply connected to Shamanic practices and incorporating it into my Reiki and sound healing treatments, the desire for more of this healing medicine compelled me to take my next worksop; Shamanic Reiki Master Practitioner with Llyn Roberts.

I continued to expand my knowledge in sound healing by taking a 8 week workshop, Shamanic Star Sound with none other than the beautiful Rakai'el Webb where I learned a tremendous amount about Sound Healing and Sound Journeys. In fact, I enjoyed her teachings so well that I signed up for a round two as an alumni to deepen my relationship with sound healing. Sound Medicine is SO needed right now. With everything that is going on in the world, it is so easy to get overwhelmed by anxiety and fear - and this is where Sound Healing truly shines. To help us navigate through the overwhelm, and to realign with the harmonics of the Earth, and to remember the Truth of the mission we hold as Keepers of Frequency.

I am especially excited to begin 2020 with a SHAMANIC REIKI MASTER TEACHER AND LIFE EMPOWERMENT APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING facilitated by Llyn Cedar Roberts, MA and Stacey Gibbons, with Rob Murphy and Emily Wallace. I also answered the call to deepen my understanding of these ancient practices by saying YES to a guided trip to Guatemala to visit indigenous Maya healers and wisdom keepers from the mountain and Lake Atitlan regions of the Guatemala highlands for a life-changing adventure into the heart of ancient healing power. My journey continues and sharing what I have learned and experienced with you is my greatest pleasure.

Reiki Mastership has been teaching Reiki to others. The thrill of witnessing the students of my Reiki class receiving Reiki energy during the attunement. Then, as I guide them in its use, sharing in their joy and amazement as they experience it's gentle power flowing though them for the first time. Seeing students use Reiki to help family, friends and clients, a wonderful sense of spiritual connection has develop between all of us. Feelings of compassion and love for everyone has strengthened as we merge with the Reiki Consciousness and know more deeply that we come from the same sours and that we are all one in that creation.
